Idea for non-profit

So as stated in my previous post, I have little to no care for school (as noted in me being late for my first class, which means I skip it all together because I'm not going to be the asshole who interupts lecture and has to walk through the isles with my ass in everyone's face) But the other day my dad was wondering if there was a local charity/nonprofit that instead of being an animal shelter, or foster network, simple ran a website where they could post animals that they could no longer care for. As much as I am sick of hearing this phrase "with this economy" many people are either selling or foreclosing on their homes, and cannot take their animal with them into apartment life. If there was a place where people could post their dogs profiles, with pictures, descriptions, and prospective family's could fill out a survey about their history, and what kind of animal they are looking for, I could match them up and find new and permanent homes for those animals.

Aside from the poor grammar and incredible run-on sentences does anyone think this could be a good idea? I would have no idea about how to go about this, I know barely any html, and have no clue about the legal steps to take to become a non-profit organization, but the whole thing sounds a lot better than school.

And to help me be in a better mood...

So I got a new car, and I cried about it. That's how spoiled I am. It's so crazy how you can love something that doesn't love you back. Or maybe it did love me back, in its own inanimate way - that little Jetta took me 60,000 miles in three years and it never broke. I went over 10,000 miles without an oil change it it didn't break. I parked it in the worst of neighborhoods, but it always blended into the background while all the cars around it got stolen or broken into. If it did love me back, I hope it knows I love it too but it was time for us to part. I hope she gets sold to another teenage girl, as her first car, so that she can experience that kind of love again.

Ah, it's Friday. Usually Fridays aren't a day to start something new, but who cares what usually is anyways. For anyone who knows me - "hi", for anyone who doesn't, hi as well. This is kind of like a grown up livejournal, which I haven't posted in since MySpace became the new livejournal.

So this weekend, among others, is a weekend for home improvement. I live in an old house, real old, like built in 1840 old. The wood from the house, however, came from a barn that was once where the firestation behind me is now. It was originally built to house the workers of some kind of factory that replaced the barn. It's been added onto who knows how many times, it's now a two family house. It has three basements, but we can only get into one so my dad often jokes about how there's probably confederate soldier bodies hidden in there. Anyways, off of my bathroom there is a door, and a staircase that leads up to an attic, but its really a room. The walls are all horsehair plaster that is falling off of wood lath. My dad and I are going to make it into a nice walk in closet/dressing room/sewing room for me. I'm very excited because I went from having two walk in closets, overflowing with clothes, to one dresser and half a closet with a sliding door.

Oh well, nothing to interesting for now. I promise I have real thoughts and opinions, but I'm still getting used to the whole thing.
